Paul is far too modest. He has been teaching for decades. He began his career in the early ‘90s working for John Lewis where he joined the training department after an initial period in an operational role. He helped colleagues with everything from technical training on tills and systems, to product knowledge and management training, all with a strong focus on customer.
Paul has a highly collaborative training style, underpinned by robust theory. He likes to engage people throughout his sessions and is keen to ensure participants believe their opinion is as good as his. He is sensitive to of group dynamics, and is particularly skilled at managing the group, ensuring enthusiastic contributors are embraced whilst quieter participants are engaged appropriately to ensure they capitalise too on the learning opportunities on offer.
Away from training, Paul says he has no stories about him that will make you fall off your chair, but he is a keen runner and has completed the London Marathon three times raising money for a local hospice. We think that might be something special!
